SportSmart4Life provides educational content for sport spectators — lessons, quizzes, watching tools and progress tracking — delivered on the FlourishIQ platform. Free tools are available without payment; a Season Pass opens the full module for the sports it covers for 365 days from purchase. We also sell personalised Wisdom of the Game ebooks and The Starting Blocks membership.
SportSmart4Life is operated from South Africa by Dr Alten du Plessis. The storefront at sportsmart4life.co.za sells in South African rands; the storefront at sportsmart4life.com sells internationally in US dollars. Your member account and checkout are served from flourishiq.co.za, the platform that runs the service. All three are ours.
Your access is personal and for a single user. Keep your login details private. Household and league features share only what you choose to share (your SpectatorIQ and badges), never your private reflections.
South African purchases (sportsmart4life.co.za, in rands) are processed by PayFast, and your contract of sale is with SportSmart4Life.
International purchases (sportsmart4life.com, in US dollars) are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. For those orders your contract of sale and your invoice are with Paddle, who are responsible for charging and remitting any VAT, GST or sales tax due in your country and who handle billing enquiries and refunds. We remain responsible for delivering the product and for supporting you.
Season Passes and ebooks are once-off purchases. They do not auto-renew; we will remind you near the end of your 365 days.
The Starting Blocks is a recurring membership and renews automatically at the end of each paid period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time — from your account, by writing to us through the contact page, or (for international orders) directly with Paddle using the link on your receipt. On cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged. Our refund policy applies to all purchases.
All platform content is owned by or licensed to SportSmart4Life and is for your personal use. You may not republish, resell or scrape it. Quotations remain the words of their attributed speakers; embedded videos remain the property of their channels.
SportSmart4Life is an educational service. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any sports federation, league, team or broadcaster unless expressly stated, and it offers no betting or gambling services of any kind.
We work to keep the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, add or retire tools; your progress records remain yours.
To the extent permitted by South African law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current pass, ebook or membership period.
